Principal Electrical Engineer

What You’ll Do
As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will:
+ Lead hardware strategy, architecture, and planning for new and existing products.
+ Provide technical leadership across cross-functional teams in new product development and sustaining engineering.
+ Design and develop PCBA-based hardware for products using optical, electrochemical, and wireless/wired communication technologies.
+ Collaborate with firmware engineers to ensure seamless hardware/firmware integration.
+ Conduct schematic capture, PCB layout, simulation, and risk analysis (e.g., DFMEA).
+ Support verification, validation, and root cause analysis for product quality.
+ Drive Agile hardware development processes and contribute to roadmap planning.
What You Bring
Required:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
+ 10+ years of professional experience, including 6+ years in PCBA design.
+ Strong experience with microcontrollers (MCUs).
Preferred:
+ Expertise in analog circuit design.
+ Embedded programming experience.
+ Experience with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT).
+ Proven track record of leading hardware development from concept to launch.
+ Familiarity with regulated industries (medical, automotive, industrial safety).
+ Agile development experience and strong documentation skills.
+ Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
