Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Electrical Engineer to join our team!

In this role you will get to work on the effective design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems critical to infrastructure building projects, working to meet safety standards, operational needs, and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Be Doing:

Design, plan, direct, and supervises the electrical work within a program of projects.

Apply advanced electrical engineering techniques, analyses, supervises the manufacturing and installations of electrical equipment, systems and components, infrastructure, power and distribution networks. 

Develops operation and maintenance plans; develops standard operating procedures; prepares O & M manuals.

Conducts surveys, studies, and site investigations

Electrical calculations and electrical theory

Load flows calculations, relay and protection coordination; pad mounted transformers and Switches.

Determine budget estimates and staffing requirements for the defined scope and schedule

Performance monitoring and recommendations

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

10+ years of related work experience preferably in mixed-use or major infrastructure construction projects.

Building electrical codes, construction methodology and requirements (NESC, NEC, IEC, IEEE or other related codes and standards.

Possess knowledge of current and developing technologies and be able to select most appropriate for use on project.

Coordination with other utilities and disciplines

Working within a multidisciplined and multicultural environment
