Job Purpose:
To fulfil various tasks, assignments and ensuring the proper functioning, safety, and longevity of equipment and facilities within an organization.
Description:
Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner Follows the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work Design and develop MEP systems for utility applications ensuring they meet safety standards and operational needs. Follow up the renovation projects on the site. HVAC system experience. Ensure that MEP systems are installed and maintained according to the latest industry standards. Troubleshoot and resolve MEP systems faults and issues, both in the field and through diagnostic equipment. Analyze electrical systems, circuits, and equipment for performance, identifying areas for improvement. Provide solutions to reduce downtime by performing timely and effective maintenance. Support commissioning, startup, and integration of new substation projects. Program, configure, and maintain PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) for various utility systems. Support the automation of electrical control systems for utilities to optimize operations. Create, read, and modify electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and connection layouts. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that MEP drawings align with system requirements. Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for MEP systems. Perform corrective maintenance on electrical systems and components, including troubleshooting, repair, and replacement. Analyze root causes of electrical failures and implement corrective actions. Monitor inventory of spare parts, ensuring that the necessary spare parts are available for repairs. Coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement of MEP system components and parts. Ensure all electrical installations comply with safety regulations and standards. Adhere to company and industry safety protocols to prevent accidents and electrical hazards. Implement best practices for energy efficiency and sustainability in the utilities systems. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, system performance, and repairs. Prepare and submit regular reports on MEP system performance and maintenance efforts to management. Professional knowledge of pharmaceuticals, GMP, SOPs preparation. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth functioning of utilities systems. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members. Identifying opportunities for process improvements or equipment upgrades to enhance efficiency, reliability, and performance. Report to direct manager Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment Performs other related duties or assignments as directed

Technical Competencies:

English Language: Able to read and write fluently and accurately in all styles and forms of the language on any subject as well as those pertinent to professional needs Maintenance Management: Develops new maintenance policies and procedures, effectively plans for major maintenance costs and formulates maintenance budget plans, and effectively identifies preventative maintenance requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics (Electro-mechanical) Engineering. Min 3 years’ experience. Experience in Utilities maintenance works for factories, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
