Job Description
Join a dynamic team of engineers working on client projects involving modifications to existing power generation facilities and plant electrical systems. Participate in the design, preparation, and integration of major electrical power equipment while contributing to some of the leading energy providers' initiatives.
Responsibilities
Participate in the design, preparation, and integration of major electrical power equipment.Prepare engineering calculations and electrical control circuit designs.Perform tests and research problems using various sources of technical information.Design or modify components and determine the intent of specifications or instructions.Make recommendations on the acceptability of materials supplied and work completed by contractors.Provide support to engineering teams on a variety of client projects.Essential Skills
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited school.4 to 7 years of related practical work experience.Experience with physical security systems (cameras, fencing, IDS, microwave/infrared) and INC knowledge.Experience with plant systems, urban control, CPC, TCS, and PPC.Proficient in Microsoft Office and CAD Software.Strong attention to detail and self-motivated.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior nuclear experience is highly desirable.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future.Work Environment
Work at Three Mile Island, spending 6-10 days on-site per month, with the remainder working from home. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $65.00/hr.
