Job Description
The primary function of this role is to design, develop, test, or supervise the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use. As an electrical engineer, you will possess the ability to create engineering drawings and interpret blueprints.
ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and troubleshoot the manufacture of electrical equipment including machinery controls, wiring, and lighting.Evaluate the cost-effectiveness, reliability, and safety of certain design models.Estimate time and cost to complete projects.Simulate and test machine, structure, or system operations.Investigate and test vendors' and competitors' products.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in engineering.2-4 years of experience in harness, CAN protocol, CREO.Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, and analytical and problem-solving abilities.Team player and detail-oriented.Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings, and common computations.Ability to perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.Ability to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.Previous experience with computer applications and design software related to the engineering field.Work Environment
The work environment will include the use of various technologies and equipment relevant to electrical engineering projects. Standard working hours apply, with a focus on ensuring a safe and productive workspace.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $44.00 - $45.00/hr.
