Job DescriptionAECOM's Water group is searching for an Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls Programmer – EIT of Electrical, Instrumentation and Control for a large capital project of a highly integrated Industrial Control Systems (ICS) in the water and wastewater treatment industry. Experience in the application and startup of industrial process controls is required.

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and 2+ years of related experience with PLC control plant process or manufacturing environment, system design, modifications and analysis, or two year technology diploma in controls or instrumentationMembership or eligibility for registration with APEGS as EIT is preferred;Preferred Qualifications
5+ years applicable experience in DCS and PLC programming.Good experience with applicable communication protocols.Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently using sound judgement to make decisions.Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and descriptive control narratives.Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions and regulations applicable to the position’s area of work.Willingness and ability to undertake additional training relating to the duties of the position.Familiarity with the Canadian Electrical Code (NEC or IEC exposure is an asset).Requires knowledge of, and experience with, operating systems such as Microsoft Office Suite and related support systems.
