We are responsible for the analysis, design, testing, and qualification of Trane positive displacement and centrifugal compressors. You will be given a variety of assignments to experience the theoretical and practical side of engineering. Most activity will take place in an office environment with some time spent in the Trane laboratory. Limited travel to suppliers and customers may also be required, depending on the assignment. **Where is the work:** This position has been designated as **remote and work will be performed in Clarksville, TN** . **What you will do:** + Manage project objectives and tasks as assigned + Create detailed electrical schematics and diagrams + Creating and routing new harnesses in 3D models + Maintain engineering documentation, including drawings, and specifications + Collaborate with team to complete engineering design projects + Support the development and maintenance of process documentation + Understand and adhere to design and drafting standard practices **What you will bring:** + BS Engineering or Engineering Technologies degree preferred + Microsoft Office knowledge required + Creo or other 3D design software + Overall 3.0 GPA or above. **Key Competencies:** + Demonstrated ability to take initiative (minimum of one example in the last four years such as: previous employment, school club officer, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc.) + Strong work ethic and positive attitude. + Good communication and teamwork skills. **Equal Employment Opportunity:** We offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits and programs.
