Where is the work:
On-Site (5 days)
Development of the electrical design of electrical panels for HVAC systems in AutoCAD and production of product documentation. The electrical designer will work on single-line and multi-line diagrams in IDEA wiring schematics and carries out selectivity and coordination studies with the relevant software. Communication with all team members via teleconferences, participation in engineering meetings with equipment suppliers, development of new skills and knowledge through internal and external training, and occasional travel to the Bari site.
What type of work will you do?
Development of the product’s conceptual and detailed design Based on input data (information, requirements, standards), development of the product’s electrical documentation: power calculations, selectivity and coordination studies, diagrams, layouts, tables, wiring lists, detailed drawings, descriptions, instructions, material data sheets. During the design phase, follow and take into account international, national, and company standards and good engineering practices. Use knowledge and experience to meet the assigned requirements for product development activities. Participation in periodic product team meetings. Proactive collaboration with all team members during product development. Development of the documentation defined according to the document list. Specify the bill of materials and services required for product development. Support suppliers with additional information during the prototyping phase Collaboration with the production engineering and on-site implementation team Collaboration with quality control during the quality control of components/systems Perform calculations for the optimal selection of components/materials Analysis of the application of new components/materials and technologies
What will make you a successful candidate?
Technical Diploma Electrical Enginering
Minimum 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Designer, preferably in the HVAC
Strong understanding of electrical design principle an practies.
Excelent knowledge of ECAD (IDEA) & PLM systems, Microsoft Office tools
Good knowledge of thermodynamics and refrigeration principle are desiderable, but not essential.
English – basic level – write and spoken
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Knowledge of European Standard (EN 60204-1, EN 60335-2-40, EN 13849, …), regarding the design and safety of on-board electrical equipment
Capacity of taking decisions as for solving problems;
Good knowledge of Bill of Materials structure and, eventually, their configurations;
Availability for monthly travel of 1 week to the Bari office
