Key Responsibilities

Design electrical building services systems, including power distribution, lighting, emergency systems, and fire alarmsPrepare detailed calculations, specifications, and technical drawings using AutoCAD and RevitCollaborate closely with mechanical and public health engineers to develop integrated MEP solutionsConduct site surveys and inspections to inform and verify design decisionsEngage with clients and project teams to understand requirements and provide technical adviceEnsure compliance with UK electrical standards, such as BS 7671 and CIBSE guidanceContribute to sustainable and energy-efficient design initiativesMentor junior team members and support continuous process improvement

Candidate Profile

Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related disciplineMinimum 3 years’ experience in electrical building services design within consultancy or related sectorsProficient in AutoCAD; Revit experience is desirableStrong technical knowledge of electrical design principles and relevant UK regulationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsEnthusiastic about sustainable design and innovationProactive, detail-oriented, and committed to high-quality delivery
