We are supporting a major European energy organization with the recruitment of an Electrical Design Engineer – Secondary Systems for their services and engineering team in Cluj-Napoca. In this role, you will contribute to complex engineering projects for the Swiss energy market, supporting both modernization and new-build substations and power plants. Working closely with international engineering teams, you will play a key role in the design and implementation of secondary systems for critical energy infrastructure projects.

What You’ll Do
Create and maintain electrical plans and schematics (2D/3D) Engineer and configure station- and field-level secondary systems Develop retrofit concepts, installation plans, and sectional drawings Coordinate and supervise cabinet production together with Romanian partners Manage technical databases and equipment libraries Support the implementation of BIM and 3D planning methodologies Collaborate closely with project teams in Switzerland across engineering, procurement, and salesWhat We’re Looking For
Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification Experience in secondary systems engineering for substations or power plants Strong understanding of control and secondary systems Experience with CAE/CAD tools, ideally EPLAN and Engineering Base Knowledge of 3D modelling and BIM methodologies is an advantage Strong communication skills in English or German Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style Comfortable working in international and virtual teamsWhat’s in It for You
