Electrical Controls Engineer - Plant 4 - Thermatech

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institutionA minimum of 3 years of previous electrical/programming experience in a manufacturing environmentEmployees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

This experienced Electrical Controls Engineer will be located in our Plant 4 Thermatech Operations in Whitehall, Michigan.

Job Responsibilities

Knowledge of facilities electrical distribution, thermal coating manufacturing process, titanium ingot manufacturing process, and the ability to handle technical issuesSignificant management and contractor interactions including design, costing, quoting, and executing electrical systems, control systems and automation upgradesCoordination, support, and installation of various electrical system projectsProvide engineering support for projects designed and built both internally and externallyApply total productive maintenance (TPM) and continuous improvement principles to projects and equipment improvement needsHMI Programming and trouble shootingSource and trouble shoot Allen Bradley PLC & RSLogix programming softwareUtilize Rockwell Automation Factory Talk SCADA, Aveva / Wonderware SCADAApply AutoCad electrical or Solid works to view and revise electrical printsInteract with automation and robot groups and provide support where neededUnderstand and apply NEC, NFPA 70E and NFPA 749 codes
