Job Description Insight Global is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to oversee and manage electrical construction projects from inception to completion for a manufacturing client. The ideal candidate will provide direction to assigned contractors, ensuring that all work is performed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, contractor management, and project execution. Key Responsibilities: • Contractor Oversight: Provide clear direction and guidance to assigned contractors, ensuring they understand project expectations and requirements. • Performance Monitoring: Oversee contractor performance in terms of safety, quality, costs, and adherence to project schedules. Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure compliance. • Scope Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert on contractor scope, ensuring that all work aligns with project specifications and contractual obligations. • Punch List Management: Develop and manage punch lists for contractors, ensuring timely completion of outstanding work items and addressing any deficiencies. • Invoice Reviews: Review and approve contractor invoices, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project progress and contractual terms. • Primary Point of Contact: Act as the primary point of contact for assigned contractors, facilitating communication and addressing any issues that arise during the project lifecycle. Skills and Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. • Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical construction management or a similar role. • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations. • Strong knowledge of PLCs and Instruments. • Strong knowledge of reading prints (PIDs, schematics, and one lines) • Proven experience in contractor management and performance oversight. • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines. • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
