Blacklynx, a Jacobs company, is seeking a talented and motivated Junior Electrical Communications Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Communications Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of satellite and ground systems. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the successful integration and performance of these systems. Key Responsibilities: * Support the development of conceptual designs for ground and space Radio Frequency hardware and software systems. * Support the development of RF system, subsystem and unit requirements. * Support the development of RF system, subsystem and unit Concept of Operations. * Support the development of RF systems, subsystems and unit designs. * Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure requitement verification methodology. * Support design verification demonstrations. * Prepare technical documentation and reports. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Master’s Degree in EE (Communications Specialty). * Knowledge of RF design concepts. * Some experience with MATLAB and STK. * Interest in spacecraft orbits and attitudes. * Interest in communicating and working as part of a team. * Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes poorly defined design environment * 1 year of experience Preferred Qualifications * US Citizen. * Ability to acquire a Security Clearance. * Some introduction to Optical Communications.
