ELECTRICAL AUTOMATION TECHNICIAN
**Electrical Automation Technician - Bethune, SC** Olsten Staffing is seeking an **experienced Electrical Automation Technician** for a leading manufacturing facility in the Bethune, SC area. **Pay:** $30.46 - $39.00 per hour (based on experience) **Schedule:** 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM (training will be on 1st shift) **Position Overview** In this role, you'll partner with operations to keep all equipment running at peak performance. You'll troubleshoot, install, repair, and maintain electrical and electronic equipment and systems, using a combination of electrical and mechanical skills. **Key Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues in power distribution, electrical equipment, and lighting systems. + Install, maintain, repair, calibrate, and test electrical, electronic, and pneumatic instruments. + Service motors, starters, controllers, and other control/communication equipment. + Perform basic mechanical tasks such as lubricating, cleaning, aligning, and replacing components. + Select and install wiring, conduit, switches, breakers, and fuses. + Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings. + Follow and maintain all safety standards (HAZMAT, MSDS, NFPA 70/70E, ZES, IES, ISO, PM). + Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and aerial lifts as needed. + Contact vendors for technical support and parts when required. + Work from ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, and in confined spaces. **Qualifications** + Certification plus **5+ years of maintenance experience** , OR an Associate's degree in a related field. + Must meet **WorkKeys assessment** requirements for Electrical Technician. + Experience with **electrical systems up to 480 volts** (exposure to 12,470 volts preferred). + **PLC troubleshooting required; Allen-Bradley programming a plus.** + Knowledge of control networks and operator interfaces (iFIX experience a plus). + Strong computer skills, including CMMS (MP2) and Excel. + Manufacturing experience preferred (especially carding, lamination, web handling, and nonwovens). + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (with lifting equipment for heavier parts). + Must be able to obtain forklift and aerial lift certifications. + Flexible availability; ability to work independently or as a team leader. **Why Work with Olsten?** For over 60 years, Olsten has been connecting top talent with outstanding employers.
