Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Associate to join our team, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining and ensuring the quality of electrical systems. Your educational back ground, combined with your experience in electric power utility construction and substation management, will be vital to your success in this role.
Responsibilities
Verify the quality of design, assembly, and protection relay I/O functionality for relay control panels.Provide consistent solutions to any discrepancies in the panels.Perform day-to-day directives while focusing on safety, quality, and reliability.Support Protection & Control Field Services (P&CFS) and process stakeholders.Essential Skills
4-year BS Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or 2-year technical degree in electrical maintenance, or equivalent applicable experience.Experience in electric power utility construction, maintenance, or operations.Related substation experience in P&C Applications, Design, Construction, Major Equipment, and Project Management.Knowledge of logic elementary and protection schemes prints, AC/DC Protection & Control Schemes.Familiarity with test equipment such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, communications instruments, and computerized relay test sets.Ability to solve problems and make decisions while managing multiple project priorities.Strong communication skills across multiple work groups including customers, covered employees, and leadership.Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, TEAMS, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in electrical engineering and troubleshooting.Familiarity with schematic designs.Experience in panel quality assurance in Protection & Control Field Services Support.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
