Job Title: Electrical Assistant Superintendent
Job Description

The Electrical Assistant Superintendent will support the energy storage division in a supervisory capacity, overseeing all aspects of electrical construction on-site.

ResponsibilitiesLead and manage energy storage electrical construction projects from initiation to completion.Coordinate with other construction professionals to ensure the successful completion of projects.Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions.Monitor the activities of subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications and schedules.Mentor general personnel, craft personnel, and other junior-level employees.Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and resources.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.Enforce and promote a culture of safety by implementing and enforcing SOLV standards and OSHA policies, procedures, and guidelines.Assign tasks, delegate responsibilities, and provide guidance and training to develop team members' skills and capabilities.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing energy storage work, including NFPA 70e and IEEE and NEC standards.Essential SkillsMinimum 5 years of work-related experience in energy storage, electrical construction, substation, data center, or related field.Leadership of craft.OSHA 30-hour construction safety certification.Direct relevant industry experience, NFPA 70e 'Qualified Person' preferred.Ability to travel and work in varied environments as required by project needs.Demonstrated experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.Ability to work, analyze, troubleshoot, and prioritize problems independently.Strong knowledge of dispatching methods, techniques, and practices.Effective written and verbal English communication skills.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and coordinate.Additional Skills & QualificationsOSHA 30-hour construction safety certification preferred.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This position involves working outdoors and traveling, with projects lasting anywhere from 9 months to 2 years. Physical demands include frequent stooping, bending, crouching, reaching, handling, sitting, standing, walking, and lifting over 50 lbs. The role requires constant finger dexterity, ability to see details at various ranges, and occasional climbing and carrying. You may be in proximity to moving mechanical parts and work in high, exposed places with occasional exposure to environmental conditions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $48.08/hr.
