**Job Title: Electrical Assembly Technician**
**Position Overview**
The Electrical Assembly Technician is responsible for building, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting marine‑grade Power Distribution Units (PDUs) and electrical control panels used in vessels and offshore systems. This role ensures all assemblies meet marine electrical standards, classification society requirements, and company quality specifications.
**System Configurations**
Technicians may work with:
60 Hz, 400 Hz, and DC power panels per MIL‑DTL‑23928
450V low‑voltage switchboards and load centers
4160V medium‑voltage shock‑isolated switchboards with protective relaying / SCADA
High‑capacity DC switchboards up to 900VDC @ 6000A
**Applicable Specifications**
Switchboards and load centers designed, manufactured, and qualified to MIL‑DTL‑16036
Ruggedized COTS shock‑isolated units meeting MIL‑DTL‑16036 performance requirements

**Primary Responsibilities**
Assemble electrical panels, PDUs, and control cabinets per engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
Route, terminate, and label wiring harnesses, cables, and components in accordance with marine electrical standards.
Install breakers, contactors, relays, busbars, terminal blocks, meters, fuses, and protective devices.
Perform marine‑grade crimping, soldering, ferruling, and cable dressing.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, single‑line diagrams, BOMs, and layout drawings.
Verify components meet specification and ensure correct installation based on design requirements.
Perform quality checks and assist in troubleshooting during the build or testing process.
Provide feedback to engineering regarding design or manufacturability improvements.
**Required Qualifications & Skills**
Experience in wire routing, termination, and panel electrical assembly
Strong ability to read schematics and electrical diagrams
Knowledge of marine or industrial electrical standards
Proficiency with hand tools, crimpers, meters, torque devices, etc.
**Work Schedule**
Monday – Thursday: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Every other Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
