**Job Title: Electrical Assembler** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Electrical Assembler with a passion for working with small parts and an eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in small part assembly, particularly in electrical or wiring tasks. Proficiency with hand tools such as wire cutters, strippers, rulers, and crimpers is essential. **Responsibilities** + Follow established assembly instructions for fiber optic cables and products. + Maintain a minimum standard quota for job assignments in terms of time and piece count. + Comply with all safety requirements and company policies and procedures. + Develop an intermediate understanding of tool names and their uses in assembly. + Learn entry-level component identification and product knowledge. + Achieve intermediate-level measurement skills using standard and metric systems. + Perform tasks accurately and thoroughly to ensure quality products. + Report any irregularities related to daily goals, quality, or delays to production management. + Use basic problem-solving skills to identify and solve problems, initiating constructive changes. **Essential Skills** + 1+ year of experience in small part assembly, with a preference for electrical/wiring. + Proficiency with hand tools such as wire cutters, strippers, rulers, and crimpers. + Ability to stand for long periods. + Ability to work on Fridays and Saturdays for 5-8 hours. + Basic English skills; must be able to communicate clearly verbally and in writing. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Good manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination. + High level of attention to detail. + Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. + Basic measurement skills using both standard and metric systems. + Ability to reason and analyze. + Highly dependable with a good work ethic, positive attitude, and team-player mentality. + ITAR Compliant. **Why Work Here?** Join a company that engages in exciting research and development projects for military applications, perfect for those who are curious and eager to learn. Employees will wear a basic gown similar to a lab coat in a cleanroom type environment. The work schedule is Monday to Thursday from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, with frequent overtime on Fridays. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Tualatin, Oregon **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
