Job Title: Electrical Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Assembler who will be responsible for wiring panels to build machines. This role requires working with both metal and plastic parts, and each assembler will have their own workstation. The position involves focusing on individual components, which can take from 30 minutes to several hours to complete, before passing them on to electrical assemblers.

Responsibilities

Receive and interpret schematics to wire components accordingly.Work with metal and plastic parts to build machines.Focus on individual components within a workstation, completing tasks that can take varying lengths of time.Collaborate with other assemblers to ensure the seamless handover of components from mechanical to electrical assembly.

Essential Skills

6 months of experience in electrical assembly, including the ability to read mechanical drawings, such as blueprints or schematics.Proficiency with various hand tools, including allen keys, screwdrivers, hammers, and wire strippers.Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs, with repetitive lifting of 10-15 lbs.

Work Environment

Work alongside team leads, production workers, and a maintenance team in a busy and fast-paced environment. The team is easy-going and fosters a supportive team environment. Enjoy working in a clean and organized facility with a consistent day shift from 7am to 3:30pm.

This is a Contract position based out of Cambridge, ON.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
