**Job Title: Electrical Assembler** **Job Description** We are seeking skilled Electrical Assemblers with experience in small part assembly, particularly in electrical and wiring. Candidates should have at least one year of relevant experience and be proficient with hand tools such as wire cutters, strippers, rulers, and crimpers. The role requires individuals who can stand for extended periods and are willing to work overtime. You will be responsible for assembling photonic cables and must be comfortable working with wires and cables. **Responsibilities** + Follow established assembly instructions for fiber optic cables and products. + Maintain a minimum standard quota for a given job assignment. + Comply with all safety requirements and company policies and procedures. + Achieve an intermediate understanding of the tools used in assembly and their applications. + Gain basic-level component identification and product knowledge. + Master measuring with standard and metric measurements using available conversion tools. + Ensure all tasks are performed accurately and thoroughly to produce quality products. + Report any irregularities pertaining to daily goals, quality, or delays to production management. + Use basic problem-solving skills to identify and address problems, initiating constructive change as necessary. **Essential Skills** + 1+ year of small part assembly experience, preferably in electrical/wiring. + Experience with hand tools including wire cutters/strippers, rulers, crimpers, etc. + Ability to stand for long periods. + Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment. + Comfortable working with small parts, wires, and cables. + Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English. + Good manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination. + High level of attention to detail. + Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. + Basic measurement skills using both standard and metric systems. + Basic reasoning and analytical abilities. + ITAR compliance. **Why Work Here?** Join a company that conducts extensive research and development for military projects, offering a stimulating environment for those who are eager to learn and curious about new technologies. **Work Environment** Work in a clean manufacturing environment focused on fiber optics for government and private customers. Shifts are from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, with frequent overtime on Fridays. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.50/hr.
