Electrical & Instrumentation Technician – Cigarette Manufacturing

As an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our cigarette making and packing equipment.

 

 

What You'll Do:

 

Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic, instrumentation, and control systems in cigarette production and packing equipmentInstall new control devices and execute electrical/electronic modifications to enhance machine performancePerform scheduled maintenance on electrical and electronic systems, following standard procedures and safety protocolsIdentify potential issues based on job requests and document all maintenance activitiesCalibrate instruments, sensors, and other equipment as prescribed in the maintenance programParticipate in machine improvement initiatives focused on safety, uptime, and product qualitySupport machine refurbishment, installation, setup, and commissioning activitiesEngage in Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and Preventive Maintenance Review (PMR) to drive process and equipment optimization

 

 

What You Need to Have:

 

Strong understanding of pneumatics and electro-pneumaticsProficient in electronics and electrical systemsExperience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)Skilled in motor control inverter setup and commissioningFamiliarity with maintenance and calibration of measuring and test equipmentComfortable working with operating systems and application programs

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, technical environment and is passionate about maintaining high standards in manufacturing operations.

Should you pass the initial interview, kindly expect a full-day assessment which includes a panel interview & technical assessment.

 

 

Work Schedule and Location:

 

Full-time, onsite role based at our Batangas plant, following a rotating shift schedule.
