EHS Technician

**What you will do:**
Lead Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security (EHS) activities at the Canóvanas Plant.
• Lead EHS activities at the site; performing risk assessments; compliance inspections; design and/or implementation of EHS solutions; internal reporting of EHS performance; training to staff; communication of federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
• Manage and close EHS observations and regulatory findings in a timely manner. Promote generation of observations and positive interactions.
• Create and promote a strong zero incident EHS culture that engages employees throughout the site and processes.
• Implement and sustainment OSHA and EHS compliance programs.
• Lead projects and process improvement activities in support of OSHA and EHS programs, including, but not limited to PPE, Hearing Conservation, Occupational Health, Respiratory Protection, Machine Guarding, Lock Out Tag Out, Confined Space, Industrial Powered Trucks, Contractor safety, and Hazard communication, and others.
• Track and perform analysis on appropriate leading and lagging EHS indicators. Present to management, as needed.
• Develop, track, and conduct required EHS training.
• Develop campaigns to promote and sustain zero incident EHS culture throughout site.
• Execute other tasks related to the role.
**Requisitos:**
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in EHS, Occupational Health, Engineering, Science, Adminstration, or related field.
+ 2+ years of experience in EHS role.
+ Good communication skills (Spanish/English).
+ Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
**Monday to Friday** **8:00am to 4:30pm** **(30 min lunch break)**
