About the RoleWe are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Safety Administrator (EHS Specialist) to join our team and champion a culture of safety and compliance. In this role, you’ll be a visible presence on the production floor, ensuring adherence to all Federal, State, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations, while also supporting internal EHS initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support EHS compliance programs aligned with regulatory standards.Develop and deliver training on RCRA, NESHAP, HAZCOM, Lockout/Tagout, Forklift, Crane, PPE, and more.Conduct environmental monitoring (air quality, stormwater, waste), permitting, and documentation.Perform safety and environmental risk assessments, inspections, and audits; implement corrective actions.Investigate incidents and accidents; collaborate with HR on workers’ compensation cases.Maintain accurate EHS records and ensure readiness for internal and external audits.Partner with site leadership and corporate EHS teams to drive continuous improvement.Must-Have SkillsOSHA Training & ComplianceJob Hazard Analysis (JHA)Safety InspectionsStrong knowledge of health & safety proceduresNice-to-Have SkillsOSHA 30 CertificationExperience in manufacturing environmentsFamiliarity with environmental permitting and reportingQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Industrial Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field4–5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial settingWhy Join Us?Opportunity to transition from temp to permanentHands-on, impactful role in a safety-first cultureCollaborative team environment with leadership supportPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.26/hr.
