Abbott Diagnostics Technologies AS is looking for a dedicated and proactive **EHS Specialist** to join our Cardiometabolics Unit in Oslo, Norway. **About the Role** As our new EHS Specialist, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of environmental, health, safety, and security compliance at our site. In this role you will have the opportunity to shape the EHS function, influence internal behaviors, and ensure alignment with both Norwegian regulations and Abbott’s global standards. You will work independently and act as the key contact for regulatory authorities, internal stakeholders, and contractors. This is a unique opportunity to take full ownership of the EHS agenda and make a lasting impact. **Key Responsibilities** + Develop and implement site-specific EHS strategies, procedures, and training programs. + Ensure compliance with Norwegian laws and Abbott corporate standards (ISO, FDA, etc.). + Lead risk assessments, incident investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives. + Coordinate audits, inspections, and emergency response activities. + Manage hazardous waste permits, chemical safety, and occupational health programs. + Drive a proactive safety culture and lead internal behavior change initiatives. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed EHS into daily operations. **What We’re Looking For** + Bachelor’s degree in technical/scientific field + Minimum 3-5 years of experience in EHS, including working in an industrial setting. + Proven ability to lead EHS training and drive behavioral change. + Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 and Norwegian regulations. + Fluent in Norwegian and English, spoken and written. + Experience with GMP, ISO13485, and auditing is a plus. **Personal Attributes** To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who is self-driven, engaged, and thrives in a dynamic environment.
