Job DescriptionVeolia Water Tech has an outstanding opportunity for a dedicated EHS professional to join our team as the
EPP (Engineering and Procurement Projects) and T&;P (Technologies and Products) Fixed Facility EHS
Leader. This position is a vital member of an interactive and supportive team responsible for
providing comprehensive EHS leadership, guidance, support, and execution specifically for our fixed
facility operations.
The role requires a seasoned EHS professional with the expertise to identify and implement
compliant, practical, cost-effective, and safe solutions that protect our employees, operations, and
the environment. As the EHS leader for our fixed facilities, you will oversee critical safety aspects of
production and equipment build processes, manage EHS compliance for wastewater treatment and
neutralization systems, and develop essential protocols such as traffic management for facility
operations.
This position demands both technical proficiency and influential leadership capabilities. You will
work closely with operations, engineering, and facility leadership teams to build and sustain a robust
EHS culture throughout our fixed facility operations. Your responsibilities encompass conducting
facility inspections, assisting in hazardous operations reviews, and driving continuous process
improvement initiatives. Through coaching, collaboration, and hands-on engagement with
operations teams, vendors, and customers, you will help create an environment where EHS

QualificationsBachelor's degree in EHS, Engineering, Science, or Technical field10+ years EHS leadership experience with health and safety focus in manufacturing/productionStrong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state/local EHS regulationsExpertise in facility safety management, equipment build processes, and production operationsFacility inspections, hazard assessments, and risk evaluationsWastewater treatment and neutralization complianceTraffic management and facility layout safetySecondary containment systems for hazmat storage (EPA/OSHA compliance)HAZOP facilitation and process hazard identificationGHS compliance (classification, labeling, SDS management)Environmental permitting (air quality, NPDES, stormwater)Experience with incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective actionsKnowledge of industrial hygiene, occupational health hazards, and emergency response planningAbility to develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs and policies

The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range: $100,000-$135,000 (USD); 100,000-135,000 (CAD) annually.
