Manpower Engineering is seeking an experienced EHS Professional to join our client’s team at their manufacturing facility near northwestern Kentucky. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for plant business leaders and superintendents, with a strong emphasis on environmental compliance, with secondary focus on health and safety. Key Responsibilities Partner with business leaders to drive EHS compliance and continuous improvement. Role will be about 80% environmental and 20% safety. Primary responsibility will be environmental regulatory compliance, around waste and water. Manage environmental systems including water treatment, wastewater, stormwater, spill control, and waste reduction. Assess work environments and implement injury and environmental release prevention programs. Lead emergency response efforts and maintain regulatory records. Conduct incident investigations and share lessons learned. Develop and deliver EHS training and facilitate safety meetings. Perform audits (OSHA, CRP policies) and ensure equipment safety. Act as a subject matter expert in areas like LOTO and confined space. Support quarterly inspections and safety equipment certifications.Qualifications B.S. in Environmental Engineering (preferred), Chemical Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health, or related field. A.S. may be considered with relevant experience. Strong environmental compliance experience in heavy industry. Good knowledge of water and waste from a regulatory perspective. Understanding of the various environmental permit parameters. Should have experience in safety and health. Need to be trustworthy and be personable to develop relationships as there is a lot of human interaction. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
