Position Summary
+ Implement and maintain a health, occupational safety and environmental management system.
+ Promoting a safe and healthy work environment, reducing environmental impacts, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
Role Responsibilities
Health, Safety & Environment (80%)
+ Responsible for execution of EHS programs and procedures cascaded from Corporate, Group or Division to meet enterprise and plant EHS objectives and targets with an emphasis on Safety and Accident Prevention, EHS Regulatory Compliance and Resource Conservation.
+ Develop, maintain and improve an EHS management system in compliance with Viet Nam regulations, group requirements and ISO 45001/14001 standards
+ Evaluate and analyze safety risks at the workplace and the environmental impacts of the site and propose improvement plans
+ Coordinates a resource conservation program which will include but not be limited to energy use, water use and waste generated from production.
+ Develop and maintain a safety and accident prevention culture
+ Define EHS objectives and manage KPIs
+ Ensure obtaining and renewal of ISO 45001 and 14001 certifications
+ Support and advise on EHS management and department managers
+ Ensure management of chemicals
+ Ensure training of people in EHS areas
+ Lead the Safety Star Point Team, EHS TIB and HPT and participate in events (e.g. kaizen)
+ Organize and manage first aiders at the Vietnam site
+ Analyze the root causes of EHS incidents on the site and propose corrective actions to avoid recurrence
+ Represent the company to regulatory authorities
+ Manages the EHS aspects of contractors that do work on site.
Fire Safety (15%)
+ Ensure the function of “fire prevention safety officer”
+ Ensure regulatory compliance of the Vietnam site and propose improvement actions to management
+ Train and raise awareness among employees about the concept of fire evacuation
Security (5%)
Cooperate with Facility Department and relevant departments to enhance the security of Site
Minimum Qualifications
Education Level:(Required): Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Field of Study/Area of Experience
+ At least 5 years of experience in the field of EHS in an industrial environment
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities List
+ Experienced in Team Management
+ Knowledge of ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 standards
+ Knowledge of Vietnamese regulations
+ A relationship builder with outstanding communication skills and the ability to listen
+ Proven ability to work cross-functionally and at a global level
+ Ability to lead and influence a team
+ Fluent English
+ Ability to have a positive mind set and to proactively drive the team to achieveing team and corporate goals

Office / Sedentary Requirements
Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
