**EHS Manager - ES EMEA Sales & Ops Sustainability**
Location : Budapest preffered ( anywhere in EU, where EATON has a legal entity possible)
**Job summary:**
+ This position leads the development, implementation, and execution of Environmental, Health, Safety (EHS) programs for the Sales and Marketing Orgnisation and the Sustainability strategies and programs across the entire ES EMEA Business.
+ The role partners with regional and segment leaders to drive strategic initiatives, compliance, and cultural engagement, supporting the company’s goals of zero EHS incidents and achievement of sustainability targets (GHG, water, waste reduction). The leader coordinates sustainability actions across key functions (Operations, Sales, SCM, Engineering), facilitates steering committees, and ensures robust plans and execution of EHS and sustainability projects.
+ The position also manages regulatory compliance, reporting, and training, and serves as a subject matter expert for EHS and sustainability management systems.
**Job responsibilities:**
Sales and Marketing EHS Leadership
+ Develop and deploy EHS programs for sales, services, and office teams, including driver safety, travel safety, and customer site activities.
+ Specifically responisble for the implementation of the driving safety program accross the entire business.
+ Identify and implement action-based EHS goals, monitor metrics, and drive continuous improvement.
+ Lead investigations and root cause analysis to eliminate hazards.
+ Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and corporate EHS mandates.
+ Manage contract compliance and customer entrance requirements related to EHS.
+ Build organizational capability through EHS training and development.
+ Support EHS-related training creation, tracking, and reporting (e.g., EATON University tool).
+ Lead efforts for third-party recognition of EHS programs.
ES EMEA Sustainability Leadership
Lead regional execution of corporate sustainability programs and projects to meet GHG, water, and waste reduction goals.
Coordinate sustainability actions across functions and facilitate EMEA Sustainability steering committees.
Ensure compliance with sustainability-related regulations (e.g., CSRD), and provide guidance to business units.
Consolidate, track, and support sustainability projects, including reporting and metrics.
Develop and support sustainability roadmaps for sites, leveraging multi-site strategies.
Partner with agencies, suppliers, and others on innovative solutions for energy, water, and waste challenges.
**Job requirements:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (environmental, sustainability, safety, or technical discipline).
+ Advanced degree or professional certification in EHS or Sustainability preferred
+ Over 8 years in EHS and/or sustainability program management in industrial/business environments.
