About the Role

Dart Container is seeking a proactive and experienced EHS Manager II to lead and continuously improve our safety and environmental programs at a large, complex manufacturing facility. This role is fully onsite and will support a 24/7 operation, requiring availability for overnight and weekend emergencies.

You’ll work closely with a dedicated team of EHS Specialists and cross-functional leaders to drive engagement, ensure compliance, and foster a culture of safety from the front line to leadership.

What You’ll Do Lead and evolve safety and environmental programs across multiple departments and locations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and increase employee engagement in safety practices. Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards. Collaborate with internal teams to manage audits, inspections, and training programs. Support emergency response readiness and incident investigations. Partner with operations to align EHS goals with production, quality, and efficiency KPIs. What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves:

Proven experience managing EHS programs in a manufacturing environment. Experience overseeing multiple departments or locations. Strong adaptability and change management skills. Ability to build trust and influence across all levels of the organization.

Preferred:

Experience with ISN Network, MSDSonline, L2L, or similar systems. First responder certification. Background in thermoforming or packaging industries. Alumni of Millersburg University (a plus, not required). Why Dart?
