This position is responsible for leading a team of EHS professionals to provide EHS support, which includes: **Responsibilities** + Recruiting, developing talent, and managing the performance of a team of EHS professionals. + Supporting team members in facilitating risk assessments, design reviews, regulatory inspections, internal building and lab inspections, incident investigations, and responding to emergencies. + Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations. + Promoting employee awareness of environmental, health, and safety matters. + Tracking global and regional standards, programs, and initiatives to balance team workloads and ensure alignment with business priorities. + Continuously evaluating and identifying innovative ways to streamline processes. + Maintaining proactive relationships with business teams, management, Places partners, security, risk management, vendors, and consultants. + Partner with peer regional EHS managers to drive consistent support for operations in their respective geographies. + Ensuring a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all team members. **Minimum Qualifications** + At least 15 years of professional experience in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) with demonstrated EHS management experience. + BA/BS in Environment, Health, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related Engineering field. + Proven people manager who builds capabilities of individuals and teams through effective employee development, involvement, communication and coaching. + Ability to travel 10-15% **Preferred Qualifications** + MS in Environment, Health, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or Engineering field. + Nationally recognized professional credentials preferred (i.e., Board Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Professional Engineer (PE)) In-depth knowledge of California regulations, EHS standards, and best practices. + Experience in adapting to challenges, providing support, and guiding communications. + Strong leadership voice with skills in communication, organization, presentations, and project management. + Ability to build and maintain cross-functional partnerships and influence others. + Experience supporting research and development (R&D) labs. + Ability to handle confidential information discretely. + Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. **Pay & Benefits** At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $164,400 and $247,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
