The Apple Environment, Health & Safety team is seeking a highly skilled Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to join our team. Our organization is dedicated to protecting the environment, health, and safety of our employees, contractors, customers, and the global communities where we operate. As a team leader, you will be instrumental in driving program development, implementation, incident review, and continuous improvement focused on supporting onsite work across our campuses in our Americas West Region.
**Description**
The successful candidate will lead a team of self-starting professionals who ensure business groups receive a high level of service to meet or exceed all applicable EHS requirements. They must be passionate about solving problems, possess excellent organizational skills, and communicate effectively across technical disciplines. Additionally, they must have a proven track record of delivering high-quality results on time, taking ownership of issues and tasks with an appropriate sense of urgency, and making hard calls when needed.

Each day will be different. This position is responsible for leading a team of EHS professionals to provide EHS support, which includes:
**Responsibilities**
+ Recruiting, developing talent, and managing the performance of a team of EHS professionals.
+ Supporting team members in facilitating risk assessments, design reviews, regulatory inspections, internal building and lab inspections, incident investigations, and responding to emergencies.
+ Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations.
+ Promoting employee awareness of environmental, health, and safety matters.
+ Tracking global and regional standards, programs, and initiatives to balance team workloads and ensure alignment with business priorities.
+ Continuously evaluating and identifying innovative ways to streamline processes.
+ Maintaining proactive relationships with business teams, management, Places partners, security, risk management, vendors, and consultants.
+ Partner with peer regional EHS managers to drive consistent support for operations in their respective geographies.
+ Ensuring a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all team members.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ At least 15 years of professional experience in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) with demonstrated EHS management experience.
+ BA/BS in Environment, Health, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related Engineering field.
+ Proven people manager who builds capabilities of individuals and teams through effective employee development, involvement, communication and coaching.
+ Ability to travel 10-15%
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ MS in Environment, Health, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or Engineering field.
+ Nationally recognized professional credentials preferred (i.e., Board Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Professional Engineer (PE)) In-depth knowledge of California regulations, EHS standards, and best practices.
+ Experience in adapting to challenges, providing support, and guiding communications.
+ Strong leadership voice with skills in communication, organization, presentations, and project management.
+ Ability to build and maintain cross-functional partnerships and influence others.
+ Experience supporting research and development (R&D) labs.
+ Ability to handle confidential information discretely.
+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
**Pay & Benefits**
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $164,400 and $247,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
