For our Engineering Material Group , specifically our Lord Noise Vibration & Harshness Division – we are looking for a EHS Manager for our Plant in Monzambano, focused on rubber to metal and steer by wire devices.
The EHS Manager will report hierarchically to the Plant Manager and functionally to the Division EHS Manager.
The resource will lead, manage and coordinate all aspects of the location’s goals and objectives in environment, health and safety (EHS), in accordance with all applicable company policies and procedures. He/She will ensure that the location is implementing and adhering to EHS principles, techniques, and methodologies.
+ MAIN DUTIES
+ Support the Leadership Team, while managing the environmental, industrial, health and safety regulation compliance for the facility.
+ Makes implementation and results a top priority and regularly updates the locations EHS implementation plan; (Sets implementation and results as top priorities and ensures regular updates to the EHS implementation plan for the site)
+ Identify and assess workplace risks; keep Risk Assessment Documents (JSA / DVR) updated, incorporating organizational changes and scheduled specific assessment; Identify and assess workplace risks, and keep Risk Assessment documents (JSA/DVR) up to date by incorporating organizational changes
+ Understand applicable legal requirements regarding environment, health and safety and collaborate to ensure compliance within the location; ( Ensure all applicable registrations, permits and licenses are in place and current; ensure the disposal of hazardous materials as per regulations and Parker policies and procedures in a timely manner.)
+ Develop health, safety and environmental procedures for the location.
+ Propose and develop operational improvements that reduce environmental impacts and maintain zero recordable incidents.
+ Manage HSE performance reporting (health, safety, electricity and gas consumprion) and KPI monitoring (injury frequency/severity, reduction of CO2 emissions);
+ Coordinate activities related to customer sustainability requests; Coordinate activities related to customers' sustainability requests.
+ Coordinates health surveillance within the location; Coordinate occupational health surveillance at the site.
+ Manage deadlines for mandatory HSE training and coordinate with HR to deliver site training plans;
+ Participate in monthly meetings with Division EHS;
+ Conduct and manage internal and certification audits and maintain the Environmental, Health & Safety Management System according to ISO standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001); Plan, conduct, and manage internal and certification audits, and maintain the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Management System in accordance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
+ Provides high level of technical and operational recommendations in meeting manufacturing goals, minimizing business interruption risk due to noncompliance, and maintaining a safe, accident free workplace;
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
+ Helps develop EHS champions within the location with an emphasis on achieving the division’s goals, objectives, and implementation plans relative to the Corporate and Division requirements;
+ Prepare and manage the annual HSE budget for projects and initiatives;
+ Lead the Safety Committee and manage the periodic meeting;
+ Maintain the Emergency Plan and Business Continuity Plan and act as Emergency Coordinator;
+ RSPP (Head of the Prevention and Protection Service) and fulfill statutory duties;
+ Promotes a continuous learning environment;
+ Shares “best practice” methods and ideas with other EHS managers and leaders across Parker.
Requirements
+ Master Degree Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Environmental and Workplace Prevention Techniques, or related fields;
+ Good Knowledge and understanding of the laws related the environment, health and safety;
+ Use EHS applications (Safety Zucchetti, Gensuite, Humantech) to manage data, workflows, and reporting;
+ Excellent communication, influencing, and leadership skills; strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
+ Self motivated, result driven, analytical skills, problem solving skills;
+ Managerial experience, preferably in manufacturing sector, with demonstrated ability to provide leadership and motivation to employees both when supervising directly and in virtual/projects teams;
+ Good knowledge of Italian and English;
+ RSPP qualification;
+ HSE Experience 4 to 6+ years in manufacturing/industrial sites;
+ Ability to draft and maintain the Risk Assessment Document (DVR) and specific assessments (noise, vibration, chemical risk, manual handling, display screen equipment—DSE/workstations, ergonomics);
+ E xperience in incident investigation and root cause analysis;
Key Competences
+ NEBOSH/IOSH certifications; ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Auditor/Lead Auditor qualification.
+ Fire safety and first aid certifications;
+ Knowledge of ATEX;
+ Experience in energy management and reporting (monitoring electricity/gas consumption, energy KPIs).
+ Familiarity with HSE KPIs (severity rates, near misses) and sustainability/CO2 reporting.
+ Lean/Kaizen methodologies and foundational Six Sigma (Yellow/Green Belt).
