We are seeking a dedicated EHS Waste Management Program Specialist to oversee and enhance our environmental health and safety protocols. This role involves maintaining records of hazardous waste discharge, evaluating technical projects, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain records of employee exposure to hazardous waste and pollutants.Evaluate ongoing technical projects and implement hazardous waste management solutions.Inspect the facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risks.Develop and implement inspection policies and procedures, including routine inspection schedules.Develop health and safety procedures for all company areas.Prepare and schedule training sessions on emergency procedures, site plans, and workplace safety.Monitor compliance with safety procedures.Draft inspection reports to document findings.Ensure material safety data sheets are maintained and accessible.Perform other related duties as assigned.
Essential SkillsExtensive knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections.
Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field required.Master's degree is desirable.5+ years of related experience preferred.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
