We invite passionate individuals to join our team, dedicated to exceeding customer expectations through innovative and sustainable solutions. **EHS Manager – Norway** The EHS Manager is a strategic leadership role responsible for developing and implementing long-term EHS initiatives across **Norway** , covering all **9 sites** . This position plays a key role in ensuring compliance with both internal policies and external regulatory requirements, while fostering a culture of safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement. The EHS Manager works closely with senior management, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders to deliver high-impact results. **Responsibilities** **Environmental Planning and Strategy** + Develop and implement comprehensive environmental policies and procedures. + Conduct risk assessments to identify environmental hazards and areas for improvement. + Design and lead strategies to reduce environmental impact and enhance sustainability. + Ensure ongoing compliance with local, national, and international environmental regulations. + Monitor, evaluate, and report on environmental performance metrics. **Resource Management** + Collaborate with departments to ensure efficient and sustainable use of resources. + Identify and promote environmentally friendly materials and operational practices. + Monitor energy consumption, emissions, and waste output; implement reduction strategies. **Communication and Collaboration** + Liaise with external organizations, regulatory bodies, and government agencies on environmental and safety issues. + Communicate EHS initiatives, performance updates, and compliance status to stakeholders. + Work with cross-functional teams to embed environmental and safety considerations into core operations. + Represent the organization at industry events, forums, and professional conferences. **Emergency Preparedness and Response** + Develop and maintain emergency response plans for environmental and safety incidents. + Lead training exercises and drills to ensure readiness and compliance. + Coordinate with emergency teams to minimize environmental damage and ensure safety during incidents. + Investigate environmental incidents and oversee corrective action implementation. **Team Management** + Monitor EHS performance in the organization and ensure EHS goals are cascaded to be all levels in the organization. + Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and safety-first work environment. + Develop and deliver training programs to keep the team updated on regulatory changes and best practices. **High Impact Behaviors** + **Strategic Decision Making:** Ability to assess complex challenges, consider long-term outcomes, and make informed decisions aligned with business objectives. Involves critical thinking, foresight, and balancing stakeholder interests. + **Effective Communication:** Strong communication skills to articulate vision, expectations, and feedback in a motivating and clear way. Includes active listening and openness to feedback at all organizational levels. **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, Engineering or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts. + Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS roles, including at least 2 years in a people management position. + Strong understanding of Norwegian and European EHS regulations and standards. + Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence at all levels of the organization. + Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with experience in EHS reporting tools and data analysis. + Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Norwegian and English. + Experience in emergency response planning, audits, and compliance inspections. **Application** We look forward to receiving your application!
