EHS Manager
We are currently looking for an EHS Manager in Xanthi factory to develop and successfully implement strategic Health and Safety systems within the Group, according to the corporative Guidelines and Strategies in JTI operations. Join us in making a significant impact on our EHS systems!
Position:
As the EHS Manager in Xanthi factory, you will:
Develop, maintain and review EH&S programs and procedures to ensure they meet legislative and industry requirements Ensure the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System (ISO certifications) through the implementation of control programs with the objective to promote a healthy and sustainable environment Conduct safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action, and implement follow-up assessments Recommend new work practices, procedures or materials, new equipment or modification of existing equipment Responsible for maintaining the methodology to identify, control and update compliance with the federal, state and municipal legislations Serve as primary contact for project site injury and incident notification, investigation, and case management. Maintain a written log of safety inspection activities, reports, and correspondence
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field Professional license of Safety Technician Minimum of 5 years’ experience in tobacco industry or other highly regulated industries Experience with local authorities and related processes Proven leadership skills in managing a team Fluency in both Greek and English languages is mandatory Good knowledge of MS Office
