Responsibilities Plan and implement OHS policies and programsAdvise and lead employees on various safety-related topicsPrepare educational seminars and webinars on a regular basisReview existing policies and proceduresAdhere to all the rules and regulationsWork with HR to set up a new employee on-boarding process for safetyConduct risk assessmentEnforce preventative measuresRecruit and hire new safety employeesTrain, manage and guide your staffIdentify process bottlenecks and offer timely solutionsCheck if all the employees are acting in adherence with rules and regulationsPrepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causesOversee workplace repair, installations and any other work that could harm employees' safety Qualifications 5-7 years of experience as a Safety Manager or similar role preferably in a manufacturing environment.Knowledge of environmental regulations and requirementsKnowledge of OSHA and KOSHA requirements and regulationsExcellent knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practicesExperience with writing policies and procedures for health and safetyFamiliarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statisticsProficient in MS OfficeWorking knowledge of safety management information systemOutstanding organizational skillsCritical thinker and problem-solving skillsGreat interpersonal and communication skillsBS/BA in safety management or similar field Additional InfoContact
