Environmental Health and Safety Manager
Description
•\tManage waste-management program
o\tMaintains records of discharge of or employee exposure to hazardous waste and/or pollutants, as required
o\tEvaluate ongoing technical projects and implement appropriate hazardous waste management in accordance with regulatory requirements
•\tInspects the facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risks.
•\tDevelops and implements inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections.
•\tDevelops health and safety procedures for all areas of the company.
•\tPrepares and schedules training to cover emergency procedures, site plan, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.
•\tMonitors compliance with safety procedures.
•\tDrafts inspection reports to document inspection findings.
•\tEnsures that material safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed.
•\tPerforms other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
•\tBachelor's degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field required; Masters degree desirable.
•\t5 years+ of related experience preferred.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
