Grow here._** At AECOM, we are recruiting a to join **EHS Lead/Client Safety Manager** us in our Dublin office. _Here’s what you’ll do:_ **1. Safety Oversight & Compliance** + Review and approve **risk assessments** , **safety plans** , **permits** , and changes occurring during construction. + Ensure projects comply with **national statutory Health & Safety regulations** . + Implement and monitor the **Construction Safety Management Program** across all projects. + Promote **best practices** and **lessons learned** across project sites. **2. On-site Safety Management** + Maintain a **visible presence on-site** to support safety culture and proactive engagement. + Engage actively in **daily Health & Safety management** : + Attend management and personnel meetings + Conduct training workshops + Participate in Daily Activity Briefings and safety reviews + Attend planning and coordination sessions **3. Auditing, Monitoring & Reporting** + Conduct **independent site audits** and **safety inspections** , including at off-site manufacturing facilities. + Monitor **compliance with Health & Safety plans** and **actual site practices** . + Track and report on **Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)** across all projects. + Audit: + Hazard Risk Assessments (HRA) + RAMS, lifting plans, safe systems of work + Competency of contractors and operatives + Communication and coordination effectiveness + Training and education programs **4. Incident & Risk Management** + Lead or assist in **incident, accident, and near-miss investigations** . + Evaluate findings and monitor **corrective/preventive action implementation** . + Assist in identifying and managing **high-risk activities** in coordination with design teams and contractors. **5. Continuous Improvement & Program Development** + Develop and enhance **project-specific safety programs** as needed. + Provide **independent review** and cross-evaluation of Health & Safety practices across multiple projects. + Drive **continuous improvement** across construction supply chain through shared learning and performance evaluation. + Evaluate the **effectiveness of Health & Safety planning** and contractor resources on site. **Qualifications** **Ready to push the limits of what’s possible?** + Minimum of **10 years’ experience** in a **senior Health & Safety role** , with substantial exposure to **construction safety management** . + Demonstrated experience in **contractor coordination** , and effective collaboration with **design teams** , engineers, and other key project stakeholders. + **Qualifications:** + Formal qualification in **Health & Safety Management** (e.g., Diploma, Degree). + Relevant professional **certification and/or degree** in a recognized **Health & Safety discipline** . + **Skills & Competencies:** + **Excellent communication skills** , both verbal and written. + Strong **reporting and documentation abilities** . + Proven track record of **strict adherence to project procedures** , timelines, and **reporting cycles** . _We celebrate diversity, including neurodiversity, and believe it enriches our team.
