Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical EHS Coordinator to join our team in Monterrey, Mexico. As an EHS Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our organization maintains the highest standards of environmental, health, and safety practices.
Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs and policies to ensure compliance with local and international regulationsConduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards in the workplaceLead incident investigations, perform root cause analyses, and recommend corrective actionsProvide EHS training to employees at all levels of the organizationMonitor and analyze EHS performance metrics, preparing reports for managementCollaborate with various departments to integrate EHS best practices into daily operationsManage and maintain EHS documentation, including permits, safety data sheets, and training recordsStay up-to-date with changes in EHS regulations and industry best practicesCoordinate with regulatory agencies and represent the company during EHS audits and inspectionsPromote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility throughout the organizationQualificationsBachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field3-5 years of experience in EHS roles, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settingsRelevant EHS certifications (e.g., OSHA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001)In-depth knowledge of local and international EHS regulations and standardsProficiency in EHS management systems and software platformsStrong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and reportingExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and SpanishDemonstrated ability to conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and incident investigationsExperience in developing and delivering EHS training programsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and EHS-specific softwareStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyProven track record of driving continuous improvement in EHS performanceAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and all levels of management
