Position SummaryJoin our EHS team to develop and implement efficient EHS solutions supporting business goals. This is a unique opportunity to join the growing EHS department and make a fundamental difference in the way that departmental activities and systems are processed through the department. Responsibilities:Work autonomously to deliver defined objectives within site EHS goals and objectives in alignment of site objectivesWorking with the training department, managing, and coordinating EH&S site training, matrix updated and covering booking venues, trainers and ensuring joining instructions are populatedMaintaining site risk assessments to ensure legal compliance for the site (register and associated risk management tools)Actively offer and seek out improvement ideas and support operation team in generating and completing their actions in IntelexEnsure cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice) is applied in all activities undertaken to ensure regulatory compliance. (Use of internal quality system software)Provide administrative support to a variety of departments to ensure EHS visual standards are maintained and updated regularly, perform monthly inspections with the teams.Ownership of the upkeep of the department’s administrative duties. (By generation of PO’s, EHS invoicing, Operation of PPM system and Work order, Ariba, and track wise)Ensure standard approaches are always sought to future-proof any applied solutions when supporting accident and near miss investigations with operational teams across site.Create a successful working environment and provide support and guidance to ensure high levels of performance – support the operation teams to deliver in EHS metrics and troubleshooting of safety actions.Handling internal site and corporate systems and programs in order to achieve system compliance – Enhesa, Intelex, site policy index ISO platformHandling internal and corporate EHS critical metric reporting and site EHS deliverables in target like training, inspection regime, Capa efficiency checks, support to other function to hold accountability of their actionsQualifications / Experience:Experience in an administrative type of role within a dynamic environment.Skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).Ability to self-manage with demonstrable structured planning skills.Able to demonstrate the ability to multitask and prioritize within a changing environment.Ability to understand and then edit different documentation to a requested specification.Experience in structuring document control management systems and EHS presentations.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Positive and optimistic approach to work.Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.Self-motivated and proactive with a "can do" demeanor.Ability to work within and deliver critical timelines.Join Thermo Fisher Scientific and contribute to our mission of enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer!
