Scope of Position

Provide administrative and technical support in the coordination and completion of all company environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities

Ability to become a qualified first responder within 12 weeks of assignmentKnowledge and Ability to interact and update the Gensuite EHS Database. Input and track Near Miss and Safety Observations into GensuiteInput incident reports as well as compile and track all incidents/accidents, and OSHA recordable incidents into Gensuite.Provide guidance to employees filling out incident reports and near miss forms. Communicate with EHS Supervisor of any new incidents/near misses.Maintain Automatic Electronic Defibrillator’s (AED’s) for Emergency Medical ResponseCoordinate Safety Shoe/Glasses Program and the annual Audiogram Program.Coordinated Respirator Fit Testing.Investigate safety concerns, near misses, and injuries.Conduct ergo analysis of workstations and work with associates on risk reduction measures.Deliver training across all EHS programs including new hire orientation, respirator use, hazardous chemicals, proper lifting techniques, emergency response, Hot Works, Lockout/Tagout, Forklift, PPE, Confined Space, Respirator, Harness / High Work, Contractor Safety, etc. Complete quarterly safety training sessions will all employees for OSHA complianceTrack training records for associates’ qualification for fork trucks and respirator use.Coordinate layered 5S and safety audits on the shop floor.Procure PPE as needed for the operations.Provide administrative support in preparation for any state and federal audits.Perform routine housekeeping to ensure area operates within parameters that conform to environmental and safety standards.Accommodate purchasing needs of EHS Department and take inventory of all office supplies, first aid and safety supplies or equipment and place order as needed. Choose payment method appropriately according to monthly budget, company policy, vendor requirements, while taking into consideration the urgency of the purchase. Follow purchasing process.Must wear all required PPE and abide by safety rules.Must report any job-related injury and or illness immediately to your direct supervisor.Must maintain attendance and punctuality standards as established by company.Participate on the Safety CommitteePerform other duties as may be assigned.

Required Qualifications

Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Gensuite (can train)Must be able to read, write and understand EnglishGood math skillsGreat organizational skillsExcellent customer service skillsAbility to multi-task and change direction quickly

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred - associate degree or higher in related field preferred or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Working Conditions

While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site in a manufacturing facility. You will be required to work at the Company’s Franklin location in New Hampshire. Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager.
