Job DescriptionWater Tech has an outstanding opportunity for a dedicated EHS professional to join our team as the
EHS Compliance Specialist for North America (NORAM). This position is a vital member of an interactive and supportive team responsible for providing support to the EHS Compliance Team and supporting all customer pre-qualification related interactions. The role requires an EHS administrative professional that has strong software skills, Google or Microsoft skills, attention to detail, and communication skills.
This position demands strong software or computer skills as you will be collecting and consolidating
data for all of NORAM. You will work closely with operations, other EHS professionals and leadership teams to help support the daily requirements of customers and site specific expectations. Your responsibilities encompass collecting and consolidating data, accessing and managing multiple contractor management systems to ensure smooth access for Veolia team members, obtaining and managing payment of the management tools through raising purchase orders, and various interactions with team members and customers. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on workplace safety while contributing to the ecological transformation that defines Veolia's mission.

Document Assembly and Submission
Internal and External Coordination
Internal Liaison: Work closely with NORAM EHS managers to help provide necessary documentation and pre-qualification requirements for customers. Work closely with NORAM Commercial Operations teams for support in certificates of insurance for customer approvals. Work with HR Compliance teams for necessary documentation related to drug and alcohol testing (DISA).External Liaison: Provide Veolia teams with support when customers reach out with specific requests. Most requests will be made through contractor management systems or directly through emails.Record Keeping and Maintenance
System Management: Establish and maintain an efficient filing system (physical and digital) for all pre-qualification documents, ensuring they are version-controlled.Renewal Tracking: Monitor and track the expiration dates of critical documents such as Canadian Workers Compensation clearance reports and manage the timely renewal process.Technical and Written Skills
Writing and Editing: Draft, edit, and proofread technical narratives, company profiles, and executive summaries to ensure they are clear, compelling, and free of errors.Formatting: Ensure a consistent, high-quality, and professional visual presentation for all submissions.QualificationsEducation & Experience

Compensation: The compensation range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range: $62,000-$82,000 CAD, $65,000-$85,000 annually.
