**Job Summary** **:**
An EHS professional leads site-wide safety, environmental, and compliance efforts by implementing risk assessments, training, and safety programs to maintain a safe and compliant workplace. The role partners with cross-functional teams to manage inspections, audits, incident investigations, emergency preparedness, waste oversight, and corrective actions while ensuring OSHA and environmental compliance. It also serves as an EHS subject matter expert, supports regulatory reporting, and promotes a strong, proactive safety culture throughout the organization.
**What you will do: **
+ Lead environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure OSHA, regulatory, and company compliance across plant operations.
+ Conduct risk assessments, job safety analyses, ergonomic reviews, inspections, audits, and daily plant walks to identify hazards and drive corrective actions.
+ Develop, deliver, and oversee EHS training, safety policies, emergency plans, and annual compliance programs for employees and supervisors.
+ Investigate incidents, analyze safety trends, and create action plans to prevent recurrence and improve overall site safety performance.
+ Partner with project managers, department leaders, engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies to manage EHS initiatives, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts.
+ Promote a strong safety culture by leading site safety teams, supporting supervisors, and driving EHS excellence at all levels.
**What you will Bring:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
+ Strong leadership, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence all levels of the organization.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills, including documentation, reporting, and policy development.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other applicable EHS systems, databases, or reporting tools.
+ Ability to recognize hazards, develop countermeasures, and coach employees is essential.
+ Work overtime, off-shifts and weekends as needed.
**Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:**
$60,000.00 - $109,340.00
