**Job Description:**
Johnson & Johnson is hiring for a **EH&S Sr. Specialist** **– Shockwave Medical** to join our team located in **Santa Clara, CA** .
Fueled by innovation at the intersection of biology and technology, we’re developing the next generation of smarter, less invasive, more personalized treatments. Ready to join a team that’s pioneering the development and commercialization of Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL) to treat complex calcified cardiovascular disease. Our Shockwave Medical portfolio aims to establish a new standard of care for medical device treatment of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease through its differentiated and proprietary local delivery of sonic pressure waves for the treatment of calcified plaque.
**Position Overview**
EH&S Sr. Specialist will provide support to implement and monitor the environment, health and safety programs for our Santa Clara, CA site.
**Essential Job Functions**
+ Performs day-to-day activities to maintain compliance with local, state and federal EH&S regulations.
+ Perform frequent site audits and inspections to support EH&S needs.
+ Develops and implements requirements for ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 programs / certifications.
+ Maintains the processes and activities associated with the ISO 14001 certification program, including communications, policies and procedures, reports and metrics, individual projects, and objectives.
+ Ensures applicable compliance obligations are identified.
+ Identifies interested parties and their needs and expectations according to ISO 14001.
+ Develops and lead improvements to relevant areas of the EHS program such as audits, investigations, management systems, corrective action deployment, and training.
+ Verifies effectiveness of Corrective Action Plans to close out non-conformities.
+ Provides technical expertise for all EHS programs.
+ Actively work as a key resource for change management implementation needs [e.g., new equipment, chemicals, etc.]
+ Leads the identification of programs that need improvement. Creates and leads teams to address deficiencies.
**Requirements**
+ Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and 5-7+ years of experience within an EH&S role.
+ Experience in a clean room manufacturing a plus.
+ Formal lead auditor qualification in ISO 14001 & ISO 50001.
+ Experience in successfully developing and implementing ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
+ Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulatory agencies and requirements.
+ Uses persuasive techniques to influence others without reliance on formal authority.
+ Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
+ Operate as a team and/or independently while demonstrating flexibility to changing requirements.
+ Capable of multi-functional assignments.
+ There may be continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8-hour day).

**Additional Information**
+ The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

**The anticipated base pay range for this position is :**
$91,000.00 - $147,200.00
