Basic Qualifications:

' Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with EHS Data Management Platform

' Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage and educate diverse audiences.

Salary Range: $57,400 - $85,000 per year
Position Overview:
The EHS Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with
regulations, conducting safety assessments, and facilitating training programs,
among other critical tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
' Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal environmental health and safety regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and industry standards.
' Conduct regular audits, inspections, and assessments to identify potential hazards and compliance gaps. Report findings and recommend corrective actions to management.
' Participate in comprehensive risk assessments to evaluate workplace hazards, including physical, chemical, and biological risks.
' Collaborate with the Environmental and Safety Manager to develop, implement, and monitor effective safety and environmental management strategies.
' Assist in the design and delivery of engaging training programs on EHS policies, procedures, and best practices for all employees.
' Provide ongoing guidance and support to staff regarding safety procedures, environmental issues, and emergency response protocols.
' Support the investigation of workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses. Collect and analyze data to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
' Maintain accurate records of all incidents and ensure timely reporting to relevant regulatory bodies.
' Maintain comprehensive documentation of safety training, incident reports, compliance inspections, and other relevant EHS data.
' Assist in preparing detailed reports for management review, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders, highlighting trends and areas for improvement.
' Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to recommend enhancements to existing EHS programs and initiatives.
' Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans, ensuring preparedness for environmental and safety incidents.
