None/Not RequiredThe Interiors Division of Collins Aerospace, an RTX business, is looking for an EH&S Manager for its Medley, Florida location! The successful candidate be able to work autonomously with little direct oversight to accomplish work tasks. This role acts as a partner in EH&S by formulating and administering EH&S plans, procedures, and providing EH&S Program Management, has responsibility for multiple EH&S specialties, may perform tasks associated with Health/Safety and Environmental/Compliance, and coordinates with business partners for EH&S concerns regarding facilities and employee practices. Other responsibilities include organizing and maintaining EH&S policies to achieve and maintain compliance with regulations and will manage relationships across other functions and departments to achieve and maintain compliance with EH&S regulations and RTX requirements.
This role is eligible for relocation.
What You Will Do
Has responsibility for multiple EH&S programs and specialties at the siteCollaborates with Operations and other Site Leadership to integrate EH&S performance into site business activitiesDevelop the site EH&S Annual Plan in partnership with site leadership to drive the strategy of the EH&S function at the site, including a tactical plan to achieve resultsOrganize, maintain, & communicate EH&S policies to ensure compliance with Legal, RTX, & Collins rules and regulationsSupport the programs, processes, and procedures to improve the EH&S culture for employees and contractorsDrives all EH&S regulatory reporting requirements. Responsible for appropriate procedures, approvals, coordination and control of EH&S Regulations applicable to the siteAnalysis of leading and lagging performance indicatorsSupport the investigation, root cause determination, and development of corrective actions for incidents, both injury and environmentalUse the EH&S Smart reporting system to maintain EH&S informationSupport the completion of audits & inspections and present findings at to the site EH&S Management CommitteeCoordinates with business partners for EH&S the concerns regarding facilities and employee practicesPerform various tasks associated with Safety, Health, Environment, Compliance, and Management SystemsCollaborate with site leadership to ensure the maintenance of the RTX EH&S Management SystemFacilitate the development and completion of activities of various EH&S subcommitteesSupport the development of a positive EH&S cultureParticipate in site and business meetings to discuss EH&S performance and improvement plansMay develop materials, implement, and deliver various EH&S trainings as required by policy or regulationMay be asked to be flexible to take on additional assignments/rotations to support other EH&S programsQualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experiencQualifications We Prefer
Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, CHMM, etc.Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA, AIHA, EPA, and DOT requirementsPrior experience in a manufacturing work settingExcellent and professional written and verbal communication skillsIntermediate computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) are essentialInfluencing and negotiating skillsWhat We Offer

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
