**Job Title:** Head of Account to report
**Hiring Manager:** Head of Account to Report, Africa
**Location:** Cairo, Egypt
**Job Purpose:**
A2R Head of Egypt is the Business Partner for the neighboring functions (i.e. CFO, FBPs, Supply chain…) and gate keeper for Closing and Reporting Operations.
She/he will work to ensure accuracy, compliance and on time reporting. She / She/he is in charge of A2R core model and RACI alignment as well as securing Tax activities and ensuring proper delivery of all Tax filings, as well as Statutory reporting and any specific reporting.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ SBO A2R organization
+ Implement as per core model and RACI the SBO organization
+ Manage and arbitrate planning and priorities of team workload
+ Support to CFO
+ Support CFO for all accounting topic
+ Attend and contribute to the FLT meeting
+ Accounting and closing
+ Manage any additional reporting entry or local statutory adjustment which may be needed to close properly the books
+ Ensure final validation of data and reporting under both IFRS and local GAAP
+ Ensure detailed analysis and explanation of analytical change been provided to CFO for closing meetings
+ Lead the accounts committee reviews and preparation
+ Ensure non routine and complex accounting topics and deals are correctly booked
+ Reporting
+ Ensure all financial reporting been performed as per legal requirement, standard and Group rules
+ any statistical or local reporting for tax or governmental organization
+ statutory accounts
+ MyTax reporting
+ HA/ISA reporting
+ Tax matters and tax auditors
+ Ensure timely tax returns,
+ Ensure compliance for indirect tax computation, control and filing (VAT, Withholding tax, other indirect Tax)..
+ Support in tax audits
+ Partners experience
+ Set up close relationships with stakeholders when needed to allow smooth communication and efficient issue resolution, and ensure all deliverable on time
+ Quality / Continuous improvement
+ Drive continuous improvement
+ Ensure proper internal control framework
+ Monitor performance across A2R processes and define corrective actions if required
+ Contribute and support global projects
+ Carve in / out of activities
+ Core model tool implementation (i.e., eclose/Blackline)
+ initiative Management / development
+ Gives visibility and communicate on the organizational strategy
+ Manage talent and succession planning as well as attrition rate and hiring process
+ Ensures training including new tools,
+ Sets objectives for his/her staff and assesses the contributions during 1:1 meetings.
+ Auditors
+ Liaise with internal and external auditors to secure smooth audits
+ Justify to auditors the main restatements and ensure reconciliation of the accounts, discuss options
+ **Maintain Compliance**
+ Abide by the requirements of the ABPI Code of Practice internal Code of Ethics including but not restricted to maintaining high professional standards of conduct in line with the Company procedure with a duty of care to the reputation of the Company
+ **Ethical Leadership**
+ Takes personal accountability to use personal experience and knowledge, as well as the training and tools provided by Sanofi, to maintain a good knowledge and understanding of all ethics and governance relevant to the role (including the Industry Code of Practice, Sanofi Policies and Procedures and any relevant legal requirements) and demonstrate personal leadership in applying these to all work undertaken.

**_Essential Qualifications_**
+ Accounting standards: Strong knowledge in Local standards and IFRS
+ Tax rules: related to Ind Tax (VAT, WHT) and Direct Taxes
+ Proficiency in financial tools: SAP
+ Minimum 10 years’ experience in Finance environment or accounting practice
+ Qualification : Finance/Accounting
