Job Responsibilities:

This position is part of Lenovo ISG Technical Evaluation Center and will be responsible for server electronic parts cost and design evaluation of both internal and competitive products.

Product tear-down evaluations to estimate cost and compare product designsIdentifying the competitiveness of our designs and providing insight and observations to our development teamsConsulting with cost managers, development engineers, procurement professionals and product marketing on cost down opportunitiesProviding the cost estimation input to cost target processMaintaining accurate and up-to-date cost estimation techniques and databasesCommunicating results to a broad audience of internal colleagues

Job Requirements:

Bachelor or master degree in Electronics Engineering or Computer Science field10+ years of working experience of PC/Server Electronics Engineering field, EE (Electronics Engineering), SL (System Lead), CE (component engineer) preferredFamiliarity with server designs, BOM cost structures and electronic parts industry cost trendsAbility to identify discrete electrical components by sightDeep understanding of the following is preferred: ECAT components, Printed Circuit Board construction, ECAT Manufacturing TechniquesProven ability to communicate with a global audience at both a technical and executive level.Fluency in written and spoken Chinese and EnglishProficiency with MS Excel and MS Powerpoint Additional Locations:  * China - Beijing - 北京（Beijing） * China * China - Beijing * China - Beijing - 北京（Beijing）
