The Governors are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and dedicated colleague, in the role as an Educational Teaching Assistant who will work as part of a team including Teachers and other support staff to support the learning and welfare of the children at St John’s.

We are looking for an Educational Teaching Assistant who would make a significant contribution to the quality of education across our school, this role will be flexible to meet the needs of our children. This role will involve delivering interventions to different groups of children which will include academic and social and emotional activities. The role will also involve supporting different class teachers and supporting children with additional needs. The role will also involve lunchtime supervision.

The successful applicant will have the appropriate social skills for securing children’s physical and emotional wellbeing. Energy, patience, enthusiasm and a positive approach to learning are also vital to this role. There will be internal training provided for the right candidate.
