Educational Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) – Oswego, IL – $45–$50/hr Position Overview The Educational Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) is a trained professional who facilitates communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and others within the educational setting. This role ensures equitable access to instruction by interpreting spoken language to American Sign Language (ASL) and ASL to spoken communication during classroom instruction, activities, and interactions.
