About the role

The Educational Field Content Designer supports the Sr. Manager, Field Education Programs in the creation, design, and implementation of educational initiatives that align with field education and product knowledge strategies.  This role implements forward-thinking field educational content incorporating cutting-edge instructional design methodologies and emerging store learning platforms. It requires expertise in innovative content development, digital learning strategies, and user-centered design approaches to enhance store associate engagement. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker who can bridge traditional field education with modern technology to drive impactful learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Support Learning Materials: Create engaging field educational and lesson content, including e-learning modules, assessments, and instructional videos Content Development: Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop content frameworks, store learning objectives and course materials Content Adaptation: Modify and update existing content to align with evolving brand standards, field educational methods, and learner needs E-Learning & Multimedia Integration: Utilize instructional design foundation to develop interactive digital content, including video scripts and gamified learning experiences Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work with SMEs and stakeholders to ensure content direction and best practices are met Technology Management: Upload, manage, and optimize content to company digital platforms Research & Innovation: Stay updated with trends in educational technology, instructional design, and digital content creation to enhance store learning experiences

Knowledge, skills & abilities requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Communications, Content Creation, or a related field 5+ years of experience in field educational content development, instructional design, or communications, along with significant writing and editing expertise Experience in a corporate setting preferred Proficiency in authoring tools, digital platforms, and multimedia design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe InDesign, Camtasia, and Vimeo) Experience with multimedia production, including video scripting, graphic design, or interactive learning tools, is a plus Knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning styles, and best practices in field education and product knowledge with attention to detail Ability to create clear, engaging, and well-structured educational materials tailored to different learning styles Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Working conditions & physical requirements

The typical working environment is in the support center office, and the work is sedentary. Typically, the associate may sit comfortably to do the job. However, some tasks and activities may be walking, standing, bending, carrying light items such as papers, files, books, and small parts, driving an automobile to a store location, etc. These activities are not frequent and do not require significant physical demands to perform the work.

While involving everyday risks or discomforts, the work environment is designed with standard safety precautions. These precautions, typical of offices, meeting and training rooms, retail stores, residences, or commercial vehicles, include using safe work practices with office equipment, avoiding trips and falls, observing fire regulations and traffic signals, etc. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated, ensuring the safety and comfort of our associates.
